This picture is call "Coca-Cola shack in Alabama" by Walker Evans. This picture is taken out side. It appears to be day time. Therefore, there is good lighting. I would say this is a rural area. There are no people in this picture, only a Coca-Cola shack. The first thing that caught my eye would be the chimney structures in the background. Which brings me to the structures. In the picture there is a shack, a fence, some trees in the back left, and in the back right, there is some small houses and random chimney. The tone of the photograph is light and not positive but not negative either. I think this is a really cool picture. Especially since Coca-Cola is still a popular drink today. This picture makes you want to jump in and grab yourself a drink. Some questions I would ask would be, why are there no people around and what are there chimneys standing by themself in the background?

This is called "Negra tenant family near Greensboro, Alabama" by Jack Delano. The photograph is outdoors in what looks to be the late afternoon. There is poor lighting in the rural area. There are seven people in this picture. If I had a guess, I would say that this family is taking a break from a hard day a work in the field behind the house. Four of the people appear to be under the age of 7, one about 15, and the remainding two, 30 and 40. There are many chairs on the porch of the house. The first thing that catches my eye is how dark the house is. If you look past the people and into the house, it is pitch black. It iis a little scary. The house seems to be in very bad condition. The tone of the photo is sort of heavy, although the picture it self is light, I feel like it is giving a negatve vibe. This photograph gives me mixed feelings. I'm happy the family is together but none of them look happy. I don't think they have a very good life. Two questions I have are, is there anything going on inside the house and what was going on before the picture was taken.

This photograph is called, "Drying up corn near Eutaw, Alabama," by Dorothea Lange. It is pure outdoors with only corn as structures. It is very bright and very rural. It is day time. Although there are no people, it seems like the corn stalks go on for miles. The first thing that catches my eye is the first corn on the left, it is drooping. The tone of the picture seems negative, and heavy. I feel like this picture seems very warm. It almost makes you feel like you just spent the day working and now you are tired and taking a step back to see your surroundings. I wonder, who was there last? Also, how big does this scenery really strech on?
